This is our 150th issue!

And people say the Medical Examiner doesn’t look a day over 100.

Run your fingers lightly across your screen right now. Feels almost like glass, doesn’t it? That’s exactly what this week’s Examiner feels like. We’re using a new printery: better paper, improved printing, less ink on your fingers. Of course, the paper and ink are merely the vehicle. The words are the destination, and this issue is loaded with good reading. There’s Naomi Williams’ always excellent column on page 6; the second installment in a new column by retired hospital administrator Bill Atkinson, “Adventures in Administration;” Bad Billy expounds upon the power of words, and Helen Blocker-Adams on the power of putting those words on paper; we have a new student columnist, Ross Everett, writing in the Wide-Eyed White Coat, and there’s much, much more. Plus the cover stories on page one and a thought provoking opinion piece (“Old School”) on page 2. Read all about it!
