There are two major fronts in this battle. One is research to find a medical cure. But even more important are lifestyle changes that significantly reduce the risks of getting cancer in the first place. We can’t puff a pack a day, overeat to the point of obesity, or live a sedentary lifestyle and always expect doctors to come to our rescue. We’ve got to be our own best advocate every day.
