More NUMB3RS!

3.2 million of them, to be specific. A guy sticks his face in a copier – and who of us hasn’t done that? – and a couple o’ three million dots later, viola! (or as some prefer, voila!) A work of art emerges courtesy of his son, artist Miguel Endara. View full screen if you like.

More figures that put numbers into some perspective:
• one million seconds ago: 11.5 days ago
• one billion seconds ago: 32 years ago
• one trillion seconds ago: 32,000 years ago
To spend a trillion dollars, you would merely need to spend a million dollars a day for a million days (or 2,740 years).
It would be a lot quicker to spend $20 billion per day. That way it would only take 50 years to spend a trillion dollars.
