Would it be fair to say I hate graffiti? Sometimes. But in the right place, I like it. Do you hate to see all the artwork on boxcars when you’re stopped by a lumbering freight train? Not me. Personally, I think railroad companies should encourage that.
But if it’s in the wrong place, like an obscenity painted on a school building, I hate that. I hate graffiti that defaces and mars. I hate graffiti that is crude and offensive. But have you ever noticed the Salvador Dali art somebody painted under the I-20 bridge on Washington Road? That’s cool.
Or what about these alterations to billboards? They definitely offer opinions to ponder.
