…to do the right thing. In fact, it’s never too late to do something spectacular.
As a member of the media, I have been at Augusta National on a Sunday night. Until long after dark, in fact. The tournament is over. You’ve been surrounded by some of the best writers and photographers in the business from all over the world. You’re thinking, “What can I write that a hundred other writers won’t say?” A photographer might lament, “What can I capture that a hundred others won’t?”
All that’s left is the green jacket ceremony itself. What could be more stupefying than yet another picture of a guy slipping on the green jacket, coveted though it may be? It’s been done dozens and dozens of times before with rather bland results every time.
But you never know when the most ordinary event will become transformed into an iconic photograph. Like this one. Click on it to see it in all its glory.
