Every Sunday (well, almost every Sunday) the Church of the Infinite Chasm throws open its doors and welcomes all. Our mission is to shine a light into the infinite gulf between man and whatever creature is just below us on the food chain. Our hope is that we’ll spark some intelligent thinking by one and all. No one should blindly swallow the story of divine creation. No one should blindly swallow the story of evolution. Alas, there are fish on both sides of the debate that just accept their chosen dogma hook, line and sinker without really giving it much thought, without considering what known facts there are, or without considering simple logic. Of course, two people can look at the same scenario and arrive at opposing conclusions. That happens all the time. Here is an example: in the video clip that follows, scientists are amazed by the ingenious design of an ant colony. Scientists are, as a group, not known for their support of the Bible’s account of creation. Despite that, they are confronted virtually every day by things in the natural world of staggering complexity, of incredible sophistication. Who or what gets the credit? Notice in the narration of the video this remark: “Everything looks like it has been designed by an architect, a single mind. But of course that isn’t true.”
Synopsis: ants have built homes that look like they were designed by a gifted architect. Ants have done this. Ants!
