It’s the celebrated PSA of the Week!

You’ve waited seven long days for this, so the pressure is on us. We know this has to be well worth your investment of fifty-eight seconds.

Well, you won’t have to wait very long for the message – and that’s a good thing, because some people might be about to be offended. Trust us, we’re not about to publish a sex tape here at the Medical Examiner. And despite appearances to the contrary, neither is this couple.

Why is this particular topic (chlamydia) so important? If you recall the national health report we wrote about in the April 5 Medical Examiner, Richmond County’s chlamydia rate is off the charts. The state average is 466 cases per 100,000 residents; Fulton County’s rate is 669; Columbia County’s rate is 212. Richmond County’s chlamydia cases number more than 1,200 per 100,000 residents.

It’s a very serious problem locally.

This PSA, as you might guess, originated in Europe, not the US.
