Come, All Ye Pew-Fillers

Yes, all ye faithful, it’s time for another installment of the Church of the Infinite Chasm, the Internet mega-church which dares to question the sacred religion of Evolution and its most holy beliefs. Like most regular churches (98% of whose members couldn’t find Obadiah or Zephaniah or Colossians if they had to, or turn to any specific chapter and verse to explain why they fervently believe in any particular teaching even if their very lives depended on it), the Church of the Most Holy Evolution has managed to attract countless millions of fervent believers, 98% of whom couldn’t cite one iota of fact in support of their belief. In fairness, the ignorance of any flock neither proves nor disproves the teachings of the church to which the flock belongs. A person can have blind faith in something that happens to be true. Or which is false. The proof is in the proof, as the old saying we just made up goes.

FULL DISCLOSURE STATEMENT: Our mission here is not necessarily built upon offering proof supporting our core premise. (And that premise is: there exists an infinite and unbridgeable chasm between human life and all other forms of life on earth; and there is an equally infinite chasm between the facts alleged by Evolution’s holy fathers and The Facts of Life.) No, our mission is much simpler: merely to ask you to question the dogma of evolution. It is to ask you to have an open mind, to not swallow the allegations of a scientist (nor those of any creationist) without examining known facts and using the powers of intelligent reasoning.

Here’s an example for your consideration and quiet contemplation:
If it takes a team of very smart people to design, build and program a lifeless robot (and it does), what would it take to design a living cell, let alone a human being? There are, incidentally, some 100 trillion cells in the body, but they’re not all alike: there are brain cells, red blood cells, bone cells, and many dozens of other types (more than 200 in all), each completely different, all astoundingly complex. Would you say they evolved, but a robot could not? Food for thought, yes?

If I told you this evolved, would you believe me?

If I told you this robot evolved, would you believe me?
