At the very end of this video you’ll see three words. Ignore them. This is not a message for one day a year. This is a message for today and tomorrow and the day after that. For every day. Remember it. Even if you’re a Dad, remember it. If your children are middle-aged, remember it. Even if you have no children, remember it. We are our own worst critics. Our children, our parents, our friends, our brothers and sisters, all may love us more than we love ourselves and appreciate the good qualities we have. Want to be a better Mom or Dad? There’s no problem with that. That’s as it should be (for a job that never ends). But while you’re on your way to the better place you want to go, don’t forget you’re probably at a pretty good place already.
