As we do every Tuesday, we post an announcement in the public interest, better known as a PSA. Usually these are of the “oh, that’s nice” category. Today’s are of the “that could totally save a life” category. In case you’re wondering, that is an official PSA category, according to the ASPSA (Internationale Union for the Classification of Public Service Announcements).
We won’t slather you with a bunch of dry statistics, so let’s just leave it at this: if you’re old enough to drink, you’d better be old enough to know not to drink and drive.
• Designate a sober driver.
• Call a cab.
• Bunk down for the night on a bar stool.
• Something.
• Anything but taking an unmanned automobile out on the highways and bi-ways.
• And that’s an order.
