It’s true. I would not lie to you. There really are flashing lights that drivers can activate. They’re called turn signals. Seriously!
What if I told you that you can use them to alert other drivers to your intentions? That is also true. You see, sometimes another driver coming from the opposite direction will be waiting to make a left turn, but they have to wait because you’re coming down the road toward them. There’s no time to safely turn in front of you. But then suddenly you seem to be slowing down a little. The other driver isn’t sure, so they continue to wait. Sure enough, you are slowing down. You’re planning to turn right into the same street they’re turning left onto.
What if I told you your lack of blinker use is annoying and illegal? And what if I also told you it’s just plain rude?
