I love a rainy day. I love a rainy night. There is no bad rainy day. Is it a weekday? Are you at work? Be glad you’re stuck inside. Is it a day off, a Saturday or Sunday? Take advantage of the rain to get something done inside you’ve been putting off. Straighten up the garage. Read a book. Watch an old movie. Take a nap; you’re probably sleep-deprived. (But set a timer so you don’t sleep the day away.) Write an actual letter to a friend or family member – the paper, envelope and stamp variety. Is it raining when you’re on vacation on a day you had planned to be at the beach? Check out a local museum, art gallery, or historic residence. You would never want to do that on a beautiful, sunny day, but it’s the perfect rainy day activity.
Like I said, there is no such thing as a bad rainy day.
