I despise “the race card.” Playing it is despicable, at least in my book. But for some people, everything falls along racial lines. If that’s how you see the world then you, my friend, are a racist. Every time I hear or read that “Augusta commissioners voted along racial lines,” I think, really? THAT was a racial issue? It wasn’t and isn’t, of course. It was turned into a racial issue by people who see color first and human beings second. This is just one example of why humans do such a miserable job of governing themselves, getting along, solving problems, et cetera. Well here’s a news flash, courtesy of Ice Cube: “Everything in the world ain’t black and white.”
