Sometimes it’s not easy to see past the cover of a book to discover the gems that might lie within. And if the cover is what’s holding a human being together, we might have a hard time looking past the rumpled clothing and messy hair and odd behavior to see the person inside. This Hump Day Hiatus tells the story of an unusual little boy – Andy – whose entire future life might have been rescued from disaster by the actions of one friend and a teacher who could see that although Andy may not have been a Star Student, he still had talent. It’s a tale well told, well cast, and well acted. Give it fifteen minutes. I think you’ll be glad you did. (Please ignore the smoking adult.)
