It seems that in nearly every issue of the Medical Examiner, typos rear their ugly heads, try as we might to avoid them. Typos – or as we like to call them, tpyos – are the bane of every publication whether the Medical Examiner or the Wall Street Journal. And I’ve seen typos in novels and non-fiction books plenty of times, too. Seeing typographical errors in other publications should lead to, “Ah well, it happens to everyone.” But strangely enough, it’s no comfort at all.
