Today’s lesson has but one simple point: there is a common perception that the scientific community en masse has subscribed to and endorsed evolution. The truth is that many well-respected scientists categorically reject evolution and enthusiastically embrace creation. It’s up to each person to decide, and no one should think that belief in creation means believing in something that no one in the scientific community does. The first video, for example, features a lively debate between two renowned scientists. Whoever posted it has added some commentary highlighting what are viewed as “points” scored against evolution.
Also, here is an excerpt from the documentary Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed featuring Ben Stein interviewing evolution’s high priest, Richard Dawkins. While the documentary is reviled in some quarters and hailed in others (purely along ideological lines, of course), this clip illustrates a significant point, one that anyone can try: if you ask evolutionists pointed basic questions – how? when? – they very very quickly run out of answers. As dogmatic as supporters of evolution might be, questions that have no answers will outnumber those with answers.
