As we do every Tuesday here at The Internet’s Most Salubrious Blog, we offer a brief message in the public interest. Today’s PSA (public service announcement) powerfully illustrates the well-known maxim that a picture is worth a thousand words. With the additional words in the caption, this message contains a total of 1,004 words. That’s a veritable torrent of words, but they’re all useless if you and I don’t heed their warning. And many don’t: just a few days ago, a local teenager was killed in his own driveway when a passing driver was allegedly distracted by his cell phone and left the road. It can happen to you. It can happen to me. Heed these 1,004 words!
